Public Policy

Understanding and having a position on the issues and related laws, bills, regulations, and/or governmental proposals that affect the health care and insurance industry, our family of companies, and most importantly, our members, is something we take seriously.

We respond to these external forces in a proactive way by meeting directly with lawmakers, regulators, trade associations and nationally recognized public policy leaders, giving them our position - and the facts to back them up - on the issues at hand.

We also engage our members and other consumers to communicate with their representatives the impact proposed legislation would have on their families, their businesses and their employees.
